School Holidays and Young Farmers Club 2020 
Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm
Open to children aged 8 years to 15 years of age.

Book your place for the school breaks and enjoy all our fun and interactive rural and agricultural activities. Build a bug hotel, create water power from horse poo and build a puddle duck pond, all this and more.  Book now for a place this holiday.

Young Farmers Day (Aged 8 - 15 years)
The ARC are keen to encourage rural and agricultural activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. We encourage ALL children aged from 8 years to 15 years to enjoy an interactive, hands on experience of working with animals and on the Land. Children learn best by having fun and exciting tasks throughout the day, the young farmers club is a fun and memorable event for all children to enjoy.
  • Learn how to keep and care for our small and large animals.
  • Clean out the animal hutches and stables. 
  • Feed and groom the animals.   
  • Take an alpaca, goat or pony for a walk.   
  • Learn how to enter animals for the show scene.   
  • Complete a craft task, such as making a scarecrow or make mint sauce.
  • Take part in planting, sowing or growing  vegetables, herbs and fruit.
Own a Pony Day
Want something different for your child to do this holiday?  Then why not book onto our "Own a Pony" Day.  Run by our experienced staff and our wonderful ponies, your child is bound to have a fabulous day they won't forget.  Children get to have a "hands-on" experience with our specialist minature ponies and horses, learning how to feed, care for and groom them as well as learning in-hand and handling techniques for walking and exercising the ponies.    Everything they need to know to own their own pony.
